He kept scruff for the first few years we knew each other, and then a short beard for the next few. A little over a year ago when we found out we were pregnant with our first he decided to grow it out until we had the baby.
If you or someone you know has had a long beard (5 inches + before it is pulled straight) then you know how gross they can get. Beard hairs don't look like facial hair when they fall out. I will leave it at that and let you imagine the rest. But please do imagine finding them everywhere- on your bed, bathroom counter, kitchen table, and if it is you that has the beard you've probably had one in your food. Floating in your cereal bowl, maybe?
Anyways, I told him he had to cut a couple of inches off and his request was to do a series of flowerbeard photos with it before we did. (I promise it was his idea. There was no coercion on my part, for all of those who have commented on instagram saying how patient david is with me. Yes, he is patient; but he is thoroughly enjoying this series. ) These phone photos are just a start, more real photos coming soon!
