“Water, Wind, Stone” at Amangiri

I was invited by Amangiri to design three days of dinners for a special group of guests who were invited in celebration of the opening of Camp Sarika.

Amangiri means “peaceful mountain,” and the energy of this resort and its surrounding nature is ever inspiring for me to create in.

Taking cues from the colors, movement, and textures found in the land, we developed these design concepts for each of these events. Each element chosen here is meant to feel harmonious with the environment, or a complement to it. Each event meant to represent an element from the poem by Octavio Paz, “Water, Wind, Stone” that inspired the architecture of the building at Amangiri.
