Hollister Ranch

Cat and Matt gave the opportunity to be minimalists, to make something that is rugged and felt from the earth of their family home on the cliffs of Hollister Ranch.

For the ceremony on the bluff’s edge, we created a shrub-like backdrop of local buckwheat blooms mixed with colorful statice blooms. Something that surrounded them as they took their vows, but didn’t block the sweeping views behind them that they love so much.

A glittery bouquet for Cat, tiny sparkly blooms twinkled like the sunlight on the ocean, and the starfish earrings she wore.

The family style feast was the centerpiece for their dining tables, but we got to create a garden to surround the ends of the tables, complete with purple allium blooms that felt like they were dancing to the beat that the DJ was creating as guests dined.

The next day, a family breakfast at Presqu’ile Winery. Floral centerpieces of various types of protea, something that the couple love, and have in the garden’s on the property, Speckled beans, gooseberry, peaches and plums were used to style the tables to coordinate with the menu.
