Malibu Party

For day two of Mai and Brandon’s weekend, we transformed NOBU restaurant into a party space for a party the day after Mai and Brandon’s more intimate ceremony.

A pathway of potted bonsai trees and a mossy candle created a private pathway to the restaurant entrance. Inside the restaurant a lunaria seed pod installation drifted through the space, suspended in mid air. Sculptural trees and branches were installed throughout the space, on ledges and on bar tops, creating what felt like a living garden environment for the party.

On the patio, the Juniper tree forest we created around the DJ booth made a cozy atmosphere for the dance floor. Guests were able to enjoy the music, the ocean breeze, and the lounge areas all evening.
