Ali and Dave

This was one of my favorite 2012 clients. Sometimes you just fit with a client perfectly, I think I experienced that with Ali and Dave. Ali sent over a Monet painting for her color inspiration  and had a select few other photos of flowers she liked, then she told me to just do my thing.  This is music to any florist’s ears.  (Don’t get me wrong, sometimes pages and pages of a pinterest board filled with your inspiration are great. It is usually pretty easy to tell your style from them, and then all of my guessing is minimal.  But-giving someone freedom to make something that they want, and feeling trusted in the process? Its invaluable. Florists live for jobs like this!)
Ali and Dave got married in early July up at the St. Regis Deer Valley.
We made a floral walkway for the aisle, and a delicate aspen archway for Ali and Dave to stand beneath.  It was a rainy day, but clouds cleared perfectly for a ceremony with a sky full of fluffy (that, conveniently, coordinated with the color palette very well).  There was such a positive, happy energy here, and I loved every minute of working.
Thanks to Leo Patrone for the beautiful photos.
